The Trimble 4800, 5800, and R8 units are each a GPS receiver and an antenna built into one unit. These units are suited for kinematic or fast-static surveying. UNAVCO does not currently support these models but offers the following resources.

Program via a survey controller (TSC1 for 4800 and 5800; TSC1, TSCe, or TSC2 for R8).
Download via Trimble software (GPLoad for 4800, Trimble Data Transfer Utility for 4800, 5800, or R8).
