How to load firmware onto an Intuicom EB-1 ethernet bridge

Note: To use CommPro 1.1.7, you must use firmware DREV264.exe or greater. Do not load / use any firmware older than 2.54.

  1. Connect the radio to a PC with an available serial port via a programming/diag cable. Make sure the radio is powered up.

  2. Run the firmware executable (double-click on .exe).

  3. Select your comm port (option 3). If needed, hit Enter to keep the default baud rate.

  4. Select Update firmware (option 1).

  5. Answer yes (y) at the three prompts (set up mode, diag, high rate).

  6. Wait 30-60 seconds for the program to run; it will tell you when the update is complete.
