IVTRAN Monuments

IVTRAN Monuments.

Shown below are the basic components of the IVTRAN monument system. Historically, the mounts have been used with Trimble SST antenna although tests at MIT suggest that even with a choke-ring antenna attached they should be stable provided the mount itself is well connected to bedrock or fine grained concrete using epoxy.

Below is a detailed view of the monument itself. The monument is 90 mm long, and the rod that is attached during use is 355 mm long,

Detail of ground installation. This test case was not installed that well (drilled into surface crack and the concrete was coarse grained).
