UNAVCO standard configuration file for the NetR9

The UNAVCO configuration file for the NetR9 (right click to download. is intended for use with firmware version 5.44

Configuration files for previous firmware versions can be found below.

Note: L2C and L5 tracking is enabled in 5.22 and forward configuration files. For firmware versions preceding 4.93 L2C and L5 tracking were disabled. This change could increase file sizes and bandwidth usage.

We recommend that users who plan to install receivers on public networks utilize IP filtering to increase their network security. IP filtering is disabled by default in this configuration file.

The configuration file can be uploaded to the receiver through the web interface:

  1. Select Receiver Configuration
  2. Select Application Files
  3. Choose Upload Install Clone File from the Operation menu.
  4. Select the configuration file that you would like to upload.
  5. Select "OK"

Note #1: After uploading the configuration file you may then enable/disable additional features with caution through the Receiver Configuration menu. Please refer to the user guide, which is available for download on the NetR9 resource page , for additional information regarding configuration.

Note #2: We recommend the use of security features such as password protection and IP filtering that must be carefully configured and applied by each user and are not enabled in this configuration file.

Note #3: GNSS Tracking and Logging (GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, QZSS) are not enabled in this configuration.

Note #4: Specific information regarding the configuration of NetR9 for Polar Applications is available at the Remote Station Engineering Page
